Hello, my name is Nicole and my husband is Issac. we are currently living in Louisiana , just outside of Fort Polk. My husband is in the military and stationed in Ft. Polk. I'm a stay-at-home mom with 4 wonderful children. Stephen is 18, Brandon is 16, Alyssa is 9 and Devin is 7. I have always loved Dachshunds, but have never had the privilege to own one until beginning of 2006! I finally talked my husband into letting me purchase one and I totally fell in love. I have been told many times that 1 dachshund is just not enough? I never really did believe that until I got by baby girl, Coco...Now I totally understand what people were saying when they told me I would end up owning more than 1!! we currently have 3 dachshunds (2 of which are retired females), 2 mix breeds (FIXED!!), and 2 cats. Our dachshunds are raised in the house with myself and the rest of the family. My husband always tells his friends and co-workers that we have our own little circus going on and I wouldn't have it any other way!
